Privacy Policy

Pocket is built around a simple idea: your conversations with an AI should stay on your phone. This policy explains what that means in practice, and the short version is that Pocket does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server — because Pocket has no servers.

The short version

• No account. Pocket doesn't ask you to sign up or log in.
• No conversation data leaves your device. Your chats, voice recordings, cloned voices, and memories are stored locally on your iPhone and are never sent to us or anyone else.
• No analytics or tracking of your conversations.
• No data selling or sharing. We have nothing to sell.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in Pocket is stored locally on your iPhone, including:

• Your chat history and messages
• The AI models you download
• Voice recordings you make for voice cloning, and the cloned voices themselves
• Any memories, custom instructions, or personalization settings

This information is processed entirely on your device's own hardware. When you chat with Pocket, your messages are handled by an AI model running locally — they are not transmitted anywhere. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.

Network connections Pocket does make

Pocket is designed to work offline, but it connects to the internet in a few limited, specific situations:

• Downloading AI models. The first time you use a model, Pocket downloads it from a public model host (such as Hugging Face). These are standard file downloads and do not include any personal information about you.
• Optional web tools. If you enable internet tools, Pocket can perform web searches, fetch web pages, look up Wikipedia, or check the weather when you ask it to. These requests go to the relevant third-party service to fulfill your request. You can turn this off entirely with Offline Mode, and the app functions fully without it.
• Purchases. If you buy Pocket Pro, the transaction is handled by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment information.

When you use an optional internet tool, your query is sent to that third-party service (for example, a search provider) solely to return a result to you. We do not operate these services and do not receive a copy of those queries.

Microphone and speech recognition

Pocket's voice features use your microphone. Voice call mode uses Apple's on-device speech recognition to convert your speech to text; this processing is performed by iOS on your device. Voice recordings you make for voice cloning are stored locally and used only to generate a voice on your device. Audio from these features is not sent to us.

Purchases and subscriptions

Pocket Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and manages your subscription; your purchase status is provided to the app by Apple so it can unlock features. We do not collect or store your financial information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

Pocket is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — including children. Because Pocket does not collect data at all, no personal information from any user is gathered by us.

Data requests

Because we do not collect or store your personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. You are always in full control: your data lives on your device, and you can delete any chat, voice, or memory within the app, or remove everything by deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and post the revised version here. Continued use of Pocket after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
