Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pocket app ("Pocket," "the app," "we," "us"). By downloading or using Pocket, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Pocket is

Pocket is an application that runs artificial intelligence models locally on your device to provide chat, voice, and related features. Pocket downloads open-source or openly available AI models to your device and runs them on your device's hardware. The quality, accuracy, and behavior of responses are determined by these third-party models, not by us.

2. AI-generated content

Pocket produces content using AI models. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and may not reflect real facts. You should not rely on Pocket for professional advice — including medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. You are responsible for how you use any content generated by the app. We make no warranty as to the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated output.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pocket to:

You are solely responsible for the content you generate and for ensuring you have the rights to any audio you use with voice features.

4. Your content

Anything you create or generate in Pocket stays on your device. We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not have access to it. You are responsible for backing up anything you want to keep, since deleting the app deletes its data.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Pocket is free to download and use for its core features. "Pocket Pro" unlocks additional features and is available as:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. For the monthly subscription: it automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies; we are generally unable to issue refunds directly.

6. Restore purchases

If you reinstall the app or use a new device signed in with the same Apple ID, you can restore a previous Pocket Pro purchase using the "Restore purchases" option in the app.

7. Disclaimers

Pocket is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pocket, or for any decisions you make based on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes to the app and Terms

We may update the app and these Terms over time. Material changes to the Terms will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
